Industrial & Business:
The league has now finished, with last years Champions, Moot House,
retaining the title. Council Club were runners up, with Phoenix in 3rd
place. Moot House, beating White Admiral 7-1 in the final, won the
League Cup. The League Plate was won by Phoenix, beating Golden Swift
Herberts 7-2 in the final. Gary Barnett (Gate) and Dick Foster (Council
Club) shared the "Most Singles Legs Wins" title with 23 wins
from 24 matches each. The 180’s trophies and Hi-Checkout trophies are
yet to be decided as 6 weeks of open competitions are now starting,
however the leaders of these competitions are Peter Brown on 10 maximums
and Mick McNally on 8. Peter Brown leads the Hi-Checkout competition
with a 170 finish - this can now obviously only be equalled. Lastly, we
will be looking for teams to join the league next season. We hope to
raise the 13 teams up to approx 20 and get 2 divisions going. We accept
men’s, ladies, and mixed teams of all abilities. Any enquiries:

made the night so successful. The Tartan Trophy final will be between
York 'E' and the Albion. Steve Johnson went through the whole league
season without dropping a leg until the very last game of the present
campaign when he lost 1-2 to Bobby Fagg of Bowers 'T'. Steve also has
the highest finish with 167, the
least darts finish with an 11-dart leg and the most 180's with seven.
