TEAM KNOCKOUT FINAL

CC. WHITES -V- YOUNG PRETENDERS

These photos were taken at the Team KO Final (CC Whites Vs Young Pretenders) on Friday evening.

I have included the pictures of the two teams before the game and a few of the young lad scoring and chalking.  Note on the chalks there's a 180 recorded.

Young Pretenders won 5-2.  There were several high scores during the evening about 3 180s, several 140s and plenty of 100s with the odd 26 thrown in for good measure.

The game itself was great to watch, CC Whites going 2 down after the threes, but came back and won the two 4's bring the score level 2-2. going in to the pairs some might say that the draw favoured Young Pretenders as their strongest pair were selected to play together and be 1st to play.

This gave the Young Pretenders  a little advantage but CC Whites fought for all the points.

The deciding game saw CC Whites fight very hard with two consecutive 140s which put tremendous pressure on the Young Pretenders, but they held their nerve to clinch the deciding game going out on 68.

Congratulations to the Young Pretenders and commiseration to CC Whites. Every one took part in this final and gave their all.

It was also good to see young Reece score and chalk, for a young lad of his age he was not intimidated by the event.

All the best
